I fond 2 chargeoffs in my Experian credit report. They were actually visa cards charged off in a Chpter 7 bankruptcy in 1998. I have requested Experian to contact the banks and either update the accounts within 30 days or delete the entries. What are the chances that the banks will simply deny my request(s) and do nothing? If this happens what should I do.? I have the B.K. paperwork. Thank you
I got 3 chargeoffs taken off my report. Pretty good chance if they are paid off. I had 2 from US bank and the other was from a smaller bank. Good Luck! Dustin Harper
