Got an answer...they DON'T have any interest rates that low...(0.00%-5.90%)

    OH HOW CAN THEY LIE!!!

I have the BT at 0.00% NOW!!!

    Somebody here got 5.90%...
Somebody else here got 6.99% (that's almost 5.90%)

    Hey George,

    you are not alone...get this...

I've got from Chase on my Platinum 4.25% APR variable (prime + 0.00%) with $45 annual fee. And as soon as I pay my fee they increase my rate to 6.99 fixed without any notification.
This had happen already twice. When I call they claim it was computer that increased my rate and they can not explain why. So I left it at 6.99 fixed without annual fee. I gave up on 4.25%.

well George, guess Chase might be out to get both of us. I applied in July 02, since they sent me about 4 preapprovals for their "no annual chase platinum." I applied and was approved for 2K with 5.99fixed bt from July 02 then in May 03 go to rate of 20.74 variable (preferred pricing). Well, I called retention around January and had my go to rate lowered to variable 14.24(prime+9.99). Well, in my March statement Chase decides to lower my cr line from 2K to $800 due to negative info in my experian report. (55% utilization and lack of history on new accts) So, word of caution to you George and other Chase cardholders, Chase will look in your report and lower cr line and/or raise APR because they are very consider about how you are with your other creditors and credit score" is what a Chase supervisor told me.
