    hello-
I paid a Chase acct. less than full balance through a Collection agency. I paid $3,000.00 on a $6,000.00 balance 5 months ago. my credit report shows:
Eq: open account, charged off as bad debt, placed for collection
EX: account in dispute closed acct.
TU: settled for less than full balance. closed acct.

ANy advice, I paid 3,000.00 I want it at least to be noted, right? If I want to go validation route, should I have it reported correctly as settled for less than full since I have already admitted the debt by paying it off! or will this hurt me in the end.

Also, I need advice on my last 2 accounts
AMX: charged off acct. closed by credit grantor on all three reports. shoudl I settle and then go through a credit restoration. THis site seems so overwhelming given that I am in a dbt program and have thus admitted all my debt to be mine alreadyso a validation is out of question I feel. I am so confused.

Fleet: profit/loss write off? what does that mean on my TU report.

    HELP!!
