It appears that Chase is objecting to my cc application citing my BK with Citi, specifically. I've never had an account w/Chase and didn't bother applying for Citi since I've heard about their blacklist. Can't tell for sure if Chase and Citibank are in bed with each other. But I did have 3 Citibank accounts that I bk-13 on, and was rejected on a pre-approval, based on that. On the other hand I was approved for a Chase MC World card, so I do not think they are linked. Looks like Chase is just more detailed in their rejection letter than other cc rejection letters. I doubt it. Chase and Citi are fierce competitors and would never share much of anything unless it was required or mutually beneficial for both.
Same same here. CITI forgets nothing! Dh filed about 12 ago and they still remember......no forgiveness with CITI.
