Chase CLI?

I've had Chase since May '03. I originally got them because they offered me 0% BT for six months which I paid off as soon as time was up. Used it for some business travel in Nov and Dec to the tune of about $1,800 but have paid it off every month. Translation: They're not making a lot of money off of me.

On their web site today, I noticed a link to request a CLI. Anyone have experience with this? You have to fill in employer, salary, etc. but I don't want to do it if they're going to pull a hard. Anyone know about this? Are they easy with CLI? Btw, my limit is $5,000.

FILL IN QUESTIONS = "HARD" (most of the time)

    Call R 1-800-345-8089
I got 5.99% fixed on purchases and a generous increase but it did cost me a hard.
You can ask if an auto increase is available without a hard... I was greedy so they approved the auto increase on the spot the next day the rest of what I asked for showed up.

My total utilization on all of my cards is only about 23% so I don't really need it, I just want it. On the other hand, my APR with them is 19.99% which is way out of wack from my other cards so it's not like I'd be running a balance anyway.

Maybe I should put it in the sock drawer and let it sit. I noticed with Providian that when I didn't use the card for a while, they came out of the wood work with some decent deals.

I'm doing that right now. I cancelled my Providian MC Plt. toy card and threaten to close the Visa Plt. if the APR was not lowered. Providian cs countered with a 14.99%. Still it sits in the sock drawl for history.

    Best regards,
