    Has anyone applied/received this card?

It seems these days that affinity cards are easier to get, and provide a nice backdoor entrance to switch to better cards (see citi AAdavantage and AMEX skymiles).

I was wondering if the same holds true with chase.

Chase will not approve if a BK shows on your file, no matter how old the BK is. If you have a BK you can save yourself an inquiry. I hope this helps.

I've never filed bankruptcy. My letter stated that I had too many new accounts and not enough available credit on my revolving debt. I'm going to wait six months and try again after my new credit cards begin to show. The additional 18000 I've acquired in the past month should do alot to boost my score.

No, but I guestimate around 650 since they pulled the TU report. This was before EMCC episode I posted earlier.
