Is it true that Chase has relaxed its guidelines similar to the Citi AA card. Are they giving them out like candy? What report do they pull and what is the minimal score?
ive got a chase denial unopened here. So i would think not. Strange i also got a $30K loan bill from chase the same day. Both pulled TU. GO FIGURE.
Check out the thread for lonergr66 last update 11/1/01. Terry feels guidelines relaxed. She was approved, its her first prime card!
Chase doesn't want to see ANY negative info PERIOD! Don't care if they are paid or not. They also don't like lates on other accounts either! They pretty much want a clean history.....that's what I've come to conclude.
<laughing> Tommyy I am a male not female. I don't have any negs on my TU credit report at all. My worthknowing score is 44. I went through manual review. When I applied online I got the message "Your Application requires further review. You will hear something within 30 days". I called everyday for a week. After 7 days the rep told me, you were approved for a 6K limit with 6 months bt/purchase apr of 2.99. I hear Chase is very conservative. I am one that keeps balances close to my credit limit, that is changing. I have 6 subprime mastercards and visas, I balance transfered 3 and will bt the other 3 once I have the balance paid in full. I will pay it off by the first of the year, then I will bt the other3 sub prime cc. I am putting them in my sock drawer until I receive a credit increase from Chase. From what I hear they will pull an inquiry for an increase. If I get approved for an increase, I will start closing the sub primes, except Household because its my oldest tradeline. At the end of six months, I am going to try to get another bt for another 6 months to consolidate the rest of my debt at the low interest rate.
