Proportion of balances to credit limits is too high on bank revolving or other revolving accounts
Amount owed on revolving accounts is too high

What are my chances of getting a successful reconsideration?

Do you mind sharing what your overall utilization is? Amount owed is too high?? (compared to income or what I wonder?)

My guess is, if you call they will pull another CR and most likely (did w/me) a 3rd CR...If you call Chase and talk and talk to a live rep, they will NOT not think twice and pull a CR...they dont care...and then to top that off, they JACK your Apr rate for NO reason at all...they did w/me and others here too.....my scores are low 700's and have one balace on one card, thats it!!....GOOD luck, you'll need it!!!...

Don't bother. You are looking at at least one more hard pull on your report plus you are in line for a card that is probably the most volatile of all.

They jack APRs when they see fit, and give you reasons that are rather far from reality.

It's literally a card that you use once in two months for gas and then pay the balance in full. In other words, you keep it for available credit comparisons.

As to your question, Chase obviously think that you owe too much on your other credit cards. You are not allowed to do that, you realize that? You are supposed to keep your cards low and even better, use them only occassionally and then pay the whole balance in full. <insert sarcasm>
