    Im having some major issues going on with Chase right now. I had a credit card account opened back on september of 1999. I had alot of months that went by where I didnt make a payment, so I know that there were definitely some lates that would show up on my Equifax credit report. Well, I pull my report, and they have the following under my payment history:

    1 Time 30 Days Late
    18 Times 60 Days Late
    12 90+ Days Late

    Am I the only one that sees something wrong with that picture? To be 60/90+ days late that many times, wouldnt my 30 days late be higher? My account has only been open for a total of 45 months and if im reading that correctly, Ive been late 61 months total. I disputed this information with Equifax, and every time it comes back saying that the information is correct. How can they be missing this!? Chase says that they dont understand why this is happening, and that I have to take up the situation with Equifax. Anyone have any advice on what I can do in this situation? Thank you in advance.

    Equifax is reporting the account as I stated in the first post. Transunion, as of April of this year shows my account as follows:

    5 times 30 days late
    5 times 60 days late
    5 times 90 days late

    Im not too sure thats correct either, but it sounds better than what Equifax has got.

    EX = Experian

    Foleys was similar. Reporting different numbers of lates on all three reports. After I disputed with all three CRAs, and they verified, I wrote them a really ugly line item letter asking how they verified three different things among the reports. How could they all be accurate???

    It is now a positive TL :)

    I had a similar situation with my utility company a year or two ago. They reported 1 120+ days late and nothing more. I took a bit of a risk and sent a dispute letter to the CRA saying that the history as reported couldn't possibly be correct because I couldn't have been on time one month and 120 days late the next. They deleted the 120 late.

    Just recently I realized that one of my credit cards is reporting one 60 day late and one 90 day late and no 30 day lates. Again, I took the risk and sent a similar dispute letter. The investigation is due to end at the end of this month, so we'll see how it goes, but I'm hoping for the same results.
