Ok I got a chase offer in the mail so I went to the www.mychaseplatinum.com site and put in an application and I get an instant message: "Chase Platinum MasterCard® Thank You Amy B, thanks for applying for the Chase Platinum MasterCard. Your application needs further review before possible approval. You'll be contacted shortly regarding the status of your application. " Anyone have this happen and how long did it take to hear from them or is there a number I can call or what?
P.S. Fact is (and please take this the right way <g>)...I was thinking about you when I went to sleep hoping you were approved!
tell the underwriter you want an instant decision it will take about 3 minutes .I was approved for my second plat card that way 10000. cl best rate just like that ps start with credit dept.
At first highly disapointed after bt but called retention and they really did everything they could to fix problem so yes quite happy. my three chase cards are plat fixed7.9 walmart plat 9.9 fixed thats the one they really helped on. and universal plat bt at0% for 9 months then 11 something i have a little work to do on this one but just got approved.

Maybe it was brought on by the post: top 10 signs of a credit addict! ouch! I am on the phone with Chase as I type...I WILL get a huge CL!! low rate!! They love me!! I Believe!! I am an excelllent credit risk! I am seeing the card in my hand!! Wow it worked!!! I got 10k!! love ya man!! Speak it out as if it already were!!woohoo!!
Ps!!! the original csr kept saying it takes 1-30 days ma'am, so I said, "well is there an uderwriter I could talk to since I'm on the phone?" She put me on hold and after awhile dude picked up, we chit chatted about the weather and he approved me for the 10k. Gotta love this!
Well this has been a super day (so far!). I had a good business meeting and I come home to the news that sweet Amy got her Chase card. La di da. Congrats, AB. I'm happy for you. FYI, I pay my card bills online through their site since experience has taught me not to trust the mail. Payments post in 2 days, and it's free.
Wow! I'm blushing sheep!! I like to pay online too so I'm glad we can. Will, how long did you wait before applying for another product? I figure since they like me, now is good!
Re: Re: chase offer status? Take yer pick, will. I've had mail lost and I've had companies screw up posting. Online payment has always been a for sure way for me to gain control over the $$$ going from my pocket to the cc companies pocket. Life is good when you don't need to get into a pi$$ing contest about "I mailed it" vs. "we haven't gotten it." $crew that.
Re: Re: chase offer status? Will - while we're having this private chat, do you know if Chase still offers instant gratification (can I say that online?) or are all apps wait and see? When I applied a few years ago it was instant.
I applied on line sunday night called credit dept monday and underwriter approved me in about 2 minutes. don't know why other post came up twice
Re: Re: chase offer status? Did the underwriter ask for a reason that you wanted the third card? I'm assuming that the latest CL is in addition to the other two and not a re-distribution of your previous line.
