Here is my situation if anyone cares. I was proud of breaking the 700 mark with Equifax a couple of weeks ago. I just paid the $12.95 to see if their was any progress. Sure enough Chase reported an account that was included in my B.K from Sept. 2001 past due. Date of last activity 04/97. Date reported 06/2003. This brought my FICO down 70 points! I called Chase 5 minutes ago and talked to someone and all of the sudden "gee our systems are updating call back in 15 minutes". My discharge was 18 months ago and they are reporting it now after my FICO hit over 700 two weeks ago. Does anyone here want to add any advise before I get a hold of them. I can hold my own but would love to hear some rational advise from a vet before calling them back.
O.K, I was just told it would be an hour after calling them again. Any advise that would change my mind would be great. The index finger is on the gun, maybe someone here should chime in and give me rational advise. Sorry to sound juvenile but I am not happy! A gosh darn 70 point loss from this account reporting B.S to Equifax.
