$6000 CL. That's certainly good enough for me. I don't know what the interest rate is, but I'm pretty confident it's going to be competitive. Thanks Creditnet !!

Congratulations!!! I think you'll like Chase. I have been with them for 2 years and haven't had a major issue yet. Customer service has been great. My only beef is that you have to take a hard inquiry for a requested credit limit increase. However, they do monitor your account and do give automatic increases. My limit has increased by $2,500 (without a request) since I have been with them.

    Enjoy!!

thanks miles. And I'll be careful about applying for an CL increase, I don't need any more hard inquiries.

    Congrats on the Platinum!

Got mine 3 weeks ago (offered and approved at the Chase ATM). Got 12.9% APR when the card came with 0% on BTs. Guess what I did (BT'd.....).

Thanks ! I'll have to call to see if I can get that 6.99% that some lucky Creditnetters have. Hopefully, they'll give it to me soon.

I had to call their "special" 800-number to get it, and I waited about 5 months after getting the card to call (so I forfeited 1 month of the 0% period). Don't remember what that number is, so you'll have to do a search on the board.

Today I called for more bt checks and they're like, "you can bt over the phone but the checks in the beginning were just a promo." WHAT?! "Ma'am you can use the 0% bt rate til it's over though, you just have to call to bt."

    Weird.

Wow. I have to be totally honest here. I was really happy I got my platinum card...but...I always pay online, and Chase's web site is TERRIBLE !! Did you all know that Chase charges you for "same day" payments ????? Citibank doesn't ! Also, I get alot of "this page not available"s. For the regular online payments, they take 3-5 days to post !!!!

I hope I didn't waste an inquiry here...

Hey, tobasco. I also use online payments and they usually post to the account within 24-48 hours. I have never had to wait more than that. I usually pay on a Thursday or Friday in the AM. Maybe that makes a difference? Have you had a problem with payments posting?

Also, I have noticed that it is better to view your account using a Netscape browser instead of IE. I have had the same problems on occasion when viewing my account (not only with Chase, but others as well). Maybe that will be work better for you. :)

Thanks for the tip, miles ! I just got the card, and immediately signed up for the online payments. Thats good to know that they're processed quickly.

I agree -- IE doesn't work well with the chase online interface.

I bank with Chase as well, so online payments post immediately as long as I do it from my checking account.

    =======

Scores now will take a ding (Chase & Citi Plat / Target Card in 1 month):
    Efx 666
    Exp 686
    TU 690

My Chase cards are my best cards. I have a Chase Gold Visa ($16,500 limit) and a Chase Platinum ($8K limit).

I just got some BT checks from Chase the other day for the Visa Gold account. I have had this card for a couple of years.

Anyways, the BT checks I got are for 3.99% fixed UNTIL IT'S PAID OFF! That's right. $16,500K @ 3.99% until it's paid off. All you have to do is make your payment on time.

I have a Bank One Platinum (originally Partner's First, then First USA) that offered 5.99% until the BT is paid off about a year ago. You bet I used it!

Oh, and none of the above mentioned cards have an annual fee, nor did I pay a BT fee.

Chase is awesome in my book.

Hey GEORGE ! Sorry you've been having problems with Chase. Did they ever repair that bogus 30-day late that you mentioned ?
