I've never been invited to apply for a platinum card before. Does anyone have any experiences with applying for one with Chase? My payment history is excellent but have rather high balances and am self-employed
I applied for a chase platinum and was denied. The only reason was this: "Proportion of bal to high credit on bnk revolving or all revolving accts" A complete joke. The highest balance I have is on a Bank of America VISA - $2,000 and my credit limit is $4000. They pulled Experian and I ordered my report to see what was on it. Maybe there's a mistake.
