I got an offer for a platinum at 9.9 for 6 months up to $15K. I wonder how they determine the criteria for making this offer. I have virtually no credit file, except for 5 trades, 3 pd installment loans from '96 (these were all the same Home Eq loans, the bank merged with others 3 times in 2 years, but each show a 0 bal paid as agreed) and a current AU credit card with $800 limit and 1 collection. I am declining that offer for the moment.
They will decline you.This card is very hard to get.Chase is very tight with their lending decisions.You have to have a perfect credit record,and a current payment track record at all times.I wouldn't apply for it if i was you.
