I recieved an offer in the mail for a "pre-approved" (yeah, right...) Chase Platinum Mastercard. It provides blanks on the form to transfer the balances of two of the applicant's credit cards to it. I just wondered if anyone had recieved this offer before, and did they make the mistake of not consulting the CREDITNET thinktank. I have become so cynical that every "present" seems to be ticking.
Yes, I did. Applied over phone. Did $xx,xxx worth of balance transfers, and got a credit limit just $900 over the BT amount.
