    Received offter in mail today to upgrade to this card, cost $39.00 anybody know anything about this?

    READ THE PAPERWORK, INCLUDING THE FINE PRINT...YOU DON'T WANT IT!!!
    It is NOT like a SILVER~~~GOLD~~~PLATINUM type upgrade...

    I got that offer today also mindylou. It is crap. They sent out a similiar offer back in the winter and I tossed it then also. The is really low down for Chase. They wont even send you a diferent card.

    It doesn't turn into like a "CASH BACK" or "MILEAGE" card for your money...you don't get a LOWER interest rate for your money... you don't get a HIGHER credit limit for your money...

    SOLUTION...SEND THE $39.00 to the SALVATION ARMY or RED CROSS or a HOMELESS SHELTER...WHERE IT CAN DO SOME GOOD.
