Chase Question

    I applied for a Chase Classic card, they pulled TU for me and I got this response...

    Your application requires further review before possible approval.
    We will be contacting you within 30 days regarding the status of your application. If you have any questions in the meantime, kindly call us toll free at 1-877-364-4132 Mon. - Fri. 8 a.m. - 10:30 p.m. and Sat. - 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. Eastern Time.

    What does this mean? Another "You suck" denial letter coming my way?

    I received the same message, I called the number and was told my Account was approved for 6K 2.99 BT for 6 months....wait about 2 days and call. It sounds like you needed a manual review. They pulled TU for me also.

    According to the Trans Union website my score was 725, I believe it was after the inquiry. I am not sure of my ACTUAL Trans Union score. I hope this helps. I was approved for the Classic Mastercard. They send BT checks almost everyweek in the mail.

    I am going to wait for my 6 months is up then I am going to apply for a Plat card, or classic visa for BT only.

    After my 6 months I go to a 15.9% Var APR, I am going to negotiate that at the end of my 6 months. I hope this helps. Their customer service is world class from what I can tell so far. Their online website can be difficult at times. When you get your card, go to their website and set up your banking information for online payments. I waited until my bill was due and almost had to the do check over the phone, because it takes a few days for them to verify the information.
