Does anybody know for a FACT if you can combine 2 accounts...wife's and husbands seperate accounts into ONE "JOINT" account??? I'M NOT GONNA' DO THE CLOSE AND APPLY THING...
Nobody??? <BUMP> I guess I will just have to call...I suppose she has to talk...SHE HATES THAT...she is a CSR/TROUBLESHOOTER 40+ hours per week (ON THE PHONE)...
George - you can combine Visa with Visa, MC with MC - as long as they aren't co-branded. They can't combine V with MC, nor could they combine a CO Visa with a Gold Visa. Call customer service and see what they can offer you. The 11.74% sounds like a standard "under $2500" rate. They may have something closer to 9.9 available - or maybe a juicy no-fee BT offer. -mj
I don't think so, but I don't know what the rewards are (are there any?). The way the rep. explained it to me was if a card earns something (miles, gas, points, stock, etc.) then it can only be combined with a "like" account (i.e. 2 people in the same household with Shell Plat. MC could combine into a joint account). Hope that helps-but I'd still call and see what they can do. -mj
Only "REWARD" is an OCCASIONAL 0.00% on WAL*MART purchases for up to 6 months... I can only buy so much at WAL*MART...
