Hi everyone... Just got denied for a Chase Continental Visa based only on number of inquiries (5). However, 3 of them were either unauthorized, or should have been coded soft. I'd like to plead my case to them, but am not sure what the best route to go is... can anyone give me some direction? Thx in advance! Scoob
I have been denied (not CHASE) for "EXCESSIVE CREDIT LIMITS"... "EXCESSIVE INQUIRES" can be ZERO or TWO, THREE, FOUR, etc ONE IS THE "MAGIC" NUMBER...
Thanks for the heads up - I reread my denial letter and realized it wasn't the inquiries.. they denied me for "Excessive number of recently opened accounts" - which I do have 4 of... however I've subsequently closed two - so I PFB'd them and am crossing my fingers. I really want the Continental Visa for the miles. Scoob
