A little over a week ago I applied for a chase walmart mastercard. Today I called to check the status and she says "We've had your application for 8 days and right now its in the verification process." I said so that basically means it's pending right ? She said that no it means that they are verifying my address. I asked her so the credit check has already went thru without any problems. She said yes sir , its in verification now which is basically verifying your home address before the card is released. So pretty much shes saying I Got it , but not offical yet ! Im not going to get my hopes up high, but man it'd be awesome to get my foot in the door with chase! Do you guys think she was was just blowing smoke up....or is this really how chase works ? Thanks!

They pulled TU, and I really need to update those scores. My capitol one visa which doesnt report limits is carrying a higher balance this month so my EQ is 636 now, same for the TU Fico. But im not sure if they got the 705 TU score I had before, or the 636 after capitol one updated......When I called them a few days ago they just said the applicatoin was pending. The first time I called she said that I had a good chance because usually denials are issued very soon after the application is submittied if their going to deny. I hope what this lady told me is accurate. The next week or so will tell I suppose.....
I thought the Wal-Mart and Sams Club were sponsored by Monogram Bak of Georgia. Has Chase taken over both or just Wal-Mart?
I applied for the Chase Walmart Mastercard - Monogram bank of Georgia offers a walmart card only, no mastercard, so good at walmart only.
The mastercard is Chase, the retail card is Monogram I believe..feel free to correct me if Im wrong (im sure someone will)
