I had 4 cards 2 of them two years old but No increase ,is chase funny with their line increase. With four cards that is 16500 credit
No chase isn't funny about their credit line increases they really have tighten up some due to our economy going into the dumps, and therefore they are being very careful with extending credit since it is unsecured, and they don't want to take on any more losses then they already faced with. Also if you don't revolve any balance even if they offer you low rate balance transfers your chances are very slim for getting any additional credit from them no matter how great of a customer that you are too them.I do agree with some peoples posts about any credit limit reaching 15K or greater will be more difficult to obtain without providing proof of some financial documents to back the higher limit with such as anykind of assets that a person may have for an example.I am at 15K now myself with chase on a mastercard, and i have a $8200.00 visa account with them too,and i am going to aleast build this card up to 15K to match my mastercard account with them.Having a total of 30K worth of credit limits on 2 cards is more then enough but it just comes handy for when i need a loan from them to take of somthing that i need.I never will need to apply for anymore credit because i have way enough like $135,300.00 total worth of credit lines on 16 different card accounts.!
