I've been to the darkside. Check out these sites I found fot the sleazy 'debt collection professional' http://www.credit-and-collections.com/articles.html this has several 'tips and tactics' for collection agents http://www.edebtnetwork.com/clib/help/index.asp?help_id=94 an 'ebay' for buying debt - you can sign up for a user free.Just make up your 'agency' name. follow the links on both sites and get a wonderful insight into the f*&@ed up mind of the sleazy collection industry. Some of the stuff reminds me of 'their' version of this board. enjoy!!!
Cool! I'll enjoy checking these out, just as I'm sure they enjoy reading our posts here. I'm pretty sure that most (if not all) the trouble makers here (Bobby, Slim, Rob, etc.) are collectors.

NCO... Actually, I keep getting letters from them and I have no idea why. The alleged account is certainly not mine and it was deleted from my credit file last year cause they had no verification. I think I'll send my validation/cease&desist letter straight to Mr. Barrist at the above address. Thanks!
Re: NCO... actually Marie, I read this in the yhoo groups.. someone said legit you really could, but you need to get that person to also be registeredr with the CRA and report..
