How often should credit scores be checked ? It seems like alot people here are monitoring them pretty close. Are you paying every time you check or is there someplace free to keep checking ? Thank you Cathy
Momma7, Welcome to the board. It is not the credit scores we monitor, but the credit report itself. The scores are bascially useless, unless you actually pay the $12.95 at www.myfico.com for your Equifax score. We all know the scores are wrong, but it's just a good way to measure how far we've come. Dani
