Anyone know how long a person stays on Chex Systems? Anyone know of a bank where they don't use Chex Systems or are willing to work with someone who is on it?
I have heard 5 years. I had a checking account with transunion that went to checkststems it was for 355.00. I settled it for less and paid it about4 months ago. First Union notifed checksystems it was paid but it's still in the system. So it makes me think that once something goes to checksystems paid or not they still report it. So I got a long to ime to wait til I get another bank account. Luckily I was alreay a memeber of my credit union with a saving only. I opened up a checking account with them last month and they didn't check checksystems just my account usage. I think they didn't check because I was already a member, I lucked out. As far as banks that don't check checksystems there a link somewhere up top that tells you.
