I think EXP put me on the Ignore List. Received 11/29 and still NOTHING. I only disputed one account too, I was hoping EXP would appreciate a single account dispute and perhaps reward me and actually investigate......HA!

Just got a letter in mail today from the EVIL EXP

    Not enough information to investigate

    Those *&###ing JERKS!

I gave them two reasons to investigate. So I am thinking of sending a letter tomorrow insisting I provided valid reasons as per the FCRA to investigate and I am expecting EXP to complete the investigation as I requested within the 30 days of my original dispute.......OR ELSE!!!!

    Any advice would be appreciated.

I would write them an email or phone them until
they investigate based on our right to an accurate
and complete reporting of our tradelines as per fcra.
If you believe that the balance, date opened or any other field of their reporting is inaccurate or incomplete that's enough reason to dispute.
I have had more success using this argument by phone with EXP.

I've rec'd the same letter from EXP.

My dispute indicated that the tradeline was grossly misleading and requested deletion. I told them specifically that the account was paid-off...they are reporting a balance due on a closed account.

I replied to their request for add'l info by spelling it out more clearly. I said you are erroneously reporting that I have a balance due of $X on this closed account. The account has been paid-off in full and thus, has a zero balance. You are in violation of the FCRA by reporting grossly misleading information on my credit report. Such violation may cause me harm. Accordingly, after reading the information you provide on your website, you must delete this grossly misleading information to assure fair and accurate reporting.

A day or so after they rec'd my follow-up letter, they marked the tradeline as being disputed by the counsumer and under reinvestigation. Don't know whether my response gave them an add'l 15 days to complete. I didn't really provide them add'l/new information, I just re-stated what I said in my first dispute letter, but did so with more clarity.

I don't have the results yet. All I can say is that they did put the account under reinvestigation upon receipt of my reply.

There are more inaccuracies with their reporting of this tradeline, but I didn't wanna use up all my ammo to get this reinvestigated on the first try in case they don't delete and I wanna dispute again later. I want full deletion because it is a negative tradeline...a mere correction to reflect the zero balance doesn't really do me any good.

Don't know your specifics and can't really give you any advice, but I did wanna share my experience....for whatever its worth.
