Thanks. And good luck to you and everyone on the board here. Since we got here in June, we have opened a number of new accounts and got some baddies deleted. Now we are going for broke with CHOD. It was really hard deciding whether to send disputes by mail now and assume that the disputes would get received into work at the CRA's between 11-27-02 and 12-2-02 or just file the disputes on the computer later on. Either way, this CHOD idea is a good one. Let's keep each other informed with results.
i will be mailing mine from zip 30327 at 1 pm... anyone care to join me? hahah perhaps a single woman say 26-32 yrs of age.. non-smoker.. has to have a fico over 650 BAHAHAHAAHHA
Mine are going out Wed. or Fri. from Florida while I am on vacation there!!! Taking time out of my busy vacation to participate in CHOD!!! 3-5 days for TU and EX, 2-3 days for EQ... I hope this works!
I just got done watching "Miracle on 34th Street." Anyone remember the scene in which the postal facility gets tons and tons of mail, all piling up for Santa? One can only hope that the Big 3 CRA's get just as much, if not more! Ho Ho Ho.... I still don't know if I would get so exicited as of yet. There are only 5077 members on this board. Will all of them write letters? I don't think so. How many extra letters will it take to upset the CRA's? This, I would like to know...
My CHOD has begun on the 20th. I am sending a 2nd round of disputes to all 3 on the 27th. The disputes on the 27th are the hardest stuff to dispute. Good Luck to everyone .... UNLV34
Shoot Honey, down here in At., we've been sitting on ready since the end of October.LOL Going out Monday morning, and good luck to everyone, plus, thanks to all the people on this board. I've raised my scores by over 100 points each, out of 6 reports (mine and hubbys) only 2 remain DIRTY with only one deg. on these. YES...so, thanks again, middle 600"s all across the board and some good cards to boot. Happy Holidays from Atlanta
Im joining in on the Onslaught. BTW, most of you are mailing, why not do online? Just a matter of preference or a better strategy?
two reasons: 1.) harder for CRA (they have to manually enter the dispute into their system). 2.) you have absolute proof of the day they received your dispute (Return Receipt).
I sent a dispute lats month fm Ms. to Efx. (2 states over) It took them exactly 14 days to sign for the latter and then exactly 5 days to place the item in dispute. So if ya'll are banking on them picking them up within a couple of days I wouldn't. Not being negative, just explaining what they did.
