Great news!!! Got mail from Equifax yesterday! They've deleted the Prior Paying history from First Premier Bank that showed 1 times 30 days late. This is better than I expected because instead of deleting the entire entry, they just removed the negative. I fought this negative because after my hit & run accident in 3/97, FPB sent the title late to car insurance company, causing their check to arrive late (5/97). I'm still waiting on the TU & EX responses, but I got even more good news today. My EX score went up 9 points to 694 since 12/7/01. As to the INQs I disputed, all lender names were removed, but the dates remained. I'll find out tomorrow if that's good or bad. Also can someone tell me the lag between when EQF updates your report & updates your online info? The letter is dated 12/8/01, but the online report I pulled on 12/11/01 showed the late PFB payment. Thanks for everyone who've helped in the last 2 weeks I've been here! The motivation's been great! Rina -- Conquering through Christ...and Creditnet
A few of us have noticed this with Equifax reports printed in the last couple of weeks. I think it's just a glitch, because the online report doesn't show this.
So, would this be grounds to say that, "well EQF, gotcha now..you didn't disclose this info to me leading me to believe that the information was gone so now you have to get it off" Should we bombard them with this? I wouldn't care what the online report shows. I don't subscribe to them for a fee. I am not a creditor....Just food for thought! Anyone?
