Well, I did it! It took two phone calls though. They seem to be a little resistant to convert, at least for me they were. I was first told they can't combine AND convert...and told me they would combine onto the gold, then for me to call a few weeks later and see if an upgrade was available. I called back a few minutes later and complained about a friend being able to do so and why I was told it was not possible. After a little bit, she folded and upgraded I noticed I didn't get the full CL I was approved online for on one of them...no biggie though. I was told there weren't any balance transfer offers at this time. Do they periodically have "specials"? Or do you have to whine and complain enough for them to give them to you? Not that it matters. The APR is lower or equal to the the APR's on the cards I want to transfer. I'm just tired of paying 4 seperate bills every month. I guess I need to work on my tactics a little more. I am such a push over on the phone...a salesman's dream. So, another 7-10 days until platinum...woo!
