Getting ready to pay my bill this month and I noticed that the grace period shrank from 25 to 20 days on my Citibank AA world card. Any of you with this card should be careful to pay early. You may have less time than you think.

I have found that the best thing to do with Citi is to set up autopay, where the payment is taken out of your account. I have the minimum taken out on the due date. Then, if I want to pay more, I can, but I never worry about a late charge or a rate jack because of late payment. I do this on my AT&T Universal card as well, since it's a Citibank card. Those are the two cards that have low rate BTs for the life of the loan.

The statement always says "your next payment of $xxx will be deducted from your account on xxx date." So you can go ahead and post it in your checkbook.

AMEX DELTA did the same thing...you have to PAY-IN-FULL on or before the due date...IF YOU DON'T...YOU GET HIT WITH INTEREST...and if you don't get the min payment before the due date...LATE FEE.

MANY CARDS had a requirement that you paid the min by the DUE DATE...but if you PAID-IN-FULL before the statement closed...THERE WAS NO INTEREST AT ALL...I guess some cards dropped that too...

THEY ARE TAKING ALL THE "FUN" OUT OF CREDIT CARDS!!!
