Okay, Due to some disputes pending on Equifax I had a jump this week from 532 to 681 for FICO score.

Went to MILLCBS and it was indicated Citibank pulls Equifax for MD and there were good indications of approval (4 of 6 as I recall) from late 2001.

I applied (against my New Year resolution not to have any inquiries) and received a message that I would be notified by mail after the processing was complete.

For thosw that have applied for this card does it seem like this is another "Instant" disapproval and does a score of 681 give me a fair chance?

A score of 681 would definately get you in the door, however I'm not sure if Citi is only score driven or if they actually look at what is in your report.

They also do AR's non stop - in May they looked at me twice - 2 weeks apart. So, if you get it, keep everything straight. When I saw two AR's in one month, I paid them off, real quick. Seems like they are real nervous lately.

what bureaus do they AR on (same as pull bureau or different). One or all.

How long after card issued did they start.

Has anybody had bad stuff occur after citi AR?

Did you guys try to BDD?

oh citi will jack your rates in an instant an "NEW" baddy occurs on your credit report that is post-datum of your cards opening.

But so will many other creditors.

BDD is still going fine, btw.

Citi is by far my favourite credit card, hands down, no questions asked.

What happens when they pull CRA #1 (clean). Issue card. AR on CRA #2 and find baddie that PRE-dates the initial pull/issuance date?

Thats what I got when I was denied with a 744 Beacon. I had one neg from 99. It was a CO that wasn't paid off. I wrote to them and called. They told me until the CO (2K) was paid off....they couldn't give me a card.

I also had my the CA in dispute when I applied and that still didn't work.

    Good Luck

Nothing.. I had many more baddies on my TU.

Don't ever expect to get an increase with a poor TU score. Their "increase" requirements are much higher than their issuance (BDD).

I've been a member for over 2 years now, no increases ever. Just denials..

    Interesting.

Did they pull AR on TU?
How long until they pulled it?
What's your worst derog on TU?

    I had $6800 on charge off's (3)

my tu score was 575 (4 points lower than my equifax) at the time.

    i hope that helps ..
