I couldn't resist the urge to apply for this card, especially since they pulled Experian last time and the disputes for inquiries are "pending" at the moment.

I got the message: "We will notify you at the address you provided as soon as your application is processed".

Is this a fat denial or what? They didn't even tell me how long it would be before they notify me. Has anyone else received this message and what was the outcome?

I wouldn't be surprised if it is a denial. I just paid down all of my cards, but I don't think that's reflecting on my reports just yet. I think my balances are too high. I guess I'll keep my fingers crossed and pray that I get approved! I really want this card...

    SD-
Doesn't mean denial, I wasn't approved instantly for my AAdvantage either time. In my experience you can check your status and know within a week.

    Sam-
I was denied the Travelocity.com World Mastercard. They said they sent a letter of reasons but I have yet to see it. I'm calling Monday to talk to credit and ask for reconsideration.

Your score doesn't really matter, but around 600 is what is needed.

What they want is no recent major derogs, all my derogs were in "dispute" and from 96', my score was 575 when i was first approved.

Well, my score on Equifax was 614 with a paid collection. I recently disputed and had that removed, so I'm assuming my score went up ( I haven't checked). BTW, Equifax was the only report with the Paid collections reporting.

Citibank pulled Experian last time, so I'm assuming they will pull EX again. If I don't get the card, I don't get the card. I will try again in a few months after my accounts have aged a bit more. I guess I will just have to be patient. =0)
