I THOUGHT that we earned 4,000 for the Citi silver and 5,000 for the gold just for signing up. Well today I check our balance on the mileage at it is a SAD 8,049 miles. I don't get it? We have used and paid 9,659 dollars on the card and still have a balance of appx 3,000. Just with the sign up offer we should have had 9,000 miles correct?
The BONUS miles can take >2 months... Your bonus miles will appear on a subsequent American Airlines AAdvantage mileage summary 8-10 weeks after your first purchase with the card. The bonus miles offer expires on December 31, 2002.
OH...call them and ask... That is WAY too long... They might even give you a 5,000 miles (SORRY BONUS)...
The rep acted really confused when I called up to inquire about my 7500. He told me to print out the web page that promised it for evidence. I did, but shouldn't they have this together? sheesh.
