I applied Sunday for a citibank AA and got the further processing message. I went to the transunion site and got my report and it shows a citibank instant inquiry on Sundays date than on yesterdays date there is another hard inquiry from citibank SD.Has anyone had this happen before?? Thats 2 hard inquiries!! I dont need that as I am doing a on line dispute with TU for my inquires!!
It happened to me when I first applied for my Citibank Platinium Select Card. That's the way how they do it. Ron.
yes you were not automatically approved. Someone is manually reviewing your credit report (second inquiry). Count your blessings, typically you get the card if they go to the effort. At this point, you may call and ask the status, as the decision probably has been made already.
