I just tried to transfer another card to my new Citi Gold (yea!!) but when I did it online, it told me that I didn't have any offers for a balance transfer. So, I call cust service and the girl tells me that in order to be able to transfer another balance, Citibank has to pull your credit AGAIN!! This is something I just don't understand! My credit was good enough for them to send me not just one but TWO credit cards (silver and gold) but yet they don't trust me enough to transfer a balance. Weird. Anyone else encounter this?
Re: Citi balance transfers- we Yes, They will place your file an inquire when request the bal transfer (Equifax in my case). The offer will be 6.9% for six months and no transfer fees.
