Citi Balance Transfers

    Has anyone successfully managed to do a balance transfer witht the transfer fee waived?

    The tranfer fee of 3% , 5 dollar minimum/50 dollar max makes the transfer not worth it.

    I DON'T HAVE FEES

    BUT THEN THEY KEEP ON TRYING TO GET ME TO BT AT 2.00% HIGHER
    THAN MY "GO-TO" PURCHASES RATE!!!

    A balance transfer transaction fee of 3.0% of the amount of each balance transfer, with a $5.00 minimum and a $50.00 maximum, will be charged to your account.

    I called the Citibank Retention # found on this board last week. The Specialist lowered my APR to 7.9% on my Citi Dividend card and BT'd from a couple accounts @0% and no BT fee.

    I got a 0% for 6 months and no transfer fees on my diamond preferred card.

    Call this number and ask for that deal!
