My wife got her 2 cards today and i can't beleive how easy it was to combine the 2 and then convert it to the regular platinum select at the rate of 14.74%...ALL in one phone call...The lady also told me after my first bill my rate will go down to 13.99% because of the recent cut..Still doesn't beet my 8.40% citi platinum tho..Incase new members are wondering what i am talking about i will fill you in... Apply for the Citi Aadvantage card and if approved apply for the regular gold one..Then you can combine the two credit limits to one card and then convert that card to a platinum select at 14.74% Thanx to Saar & Sam this was possible!!!
And after that call again and have retention reduce the apr. Or if you not good with words, write complimentary letter via planetfeedback and get rate reduced to prime + 2.9
