Just a quick post re Citi increase. Called up after having the card (Illumina) for 5 months - received a 2K increase and 3% lower apr - also received the next day - in the mail - an offer to decrease the apr to 5.9% on any purchase over 500 bucks. Haven't used them aside from initial bt offer - will probably reconsider now. Mark LA
These are the things you should be working on not applying for more credit. Glad to see you are behaving yourself. No baby yet, Baby says she wants to hang out with Mommy some more before being over-protected by Daddy! Hope things with S. are well, T and I are doing great and we cannot wait!

i dunno jrjr i've heard from others that after 5 months they will consider a cl increase - not sure what the requirements are. Basically I did a bt when i got the card - and haven't used it - aside from paying off big chunks of the bt every month. i'm guessing they like to see your ability to pay off a bt within a five month period - but that's just a guess. they did ask me for my household income when I asked to see if i was eligible for an increase - WITHOUT an inquiry on my reports, They said they didn't check any cra - from what i see - 24 hours later - no report was pulled - but i'll keep on checking cuz you never know
