Have gotten FIVE offers for cards from Citi, different brands but same name/address on label.

I was really amazed, since I included two Citi cards in my Ch7 a few years ago. As I read the app, I realized it was just a straight app, no pre-qual or anything like that. Probably generated from a list since I just moved into a condo 2 months ago.

I know I'll probably *never* get a Citi card again, but man they're really wasting their money on these mailings - five times in three days? Anyone else get these?

Yep........A few years out of BK, I was getting Citi PS card offers mixed in with CCB, FPB, and DMB preapprovals. Never could figure it out. Temptation did get the best of me and I applied, of course I was declined. But at the time, I was wondering what was wrong with Citi. No other prime issuer sent me anything, except Citi.

It's funny, because my first reaction was "how stupid do you think I am?"

I thought about calling them to take me off their list, but then I realized they're spending at least $1 for each of these pieces and if one ever says "pre-approved" I could quiz them on the phone.

But I understand that Citi will NEVER give me an account again because I included them in my BK.

i had a Charge-off through citi awhile ago that i paid off. i was surprised to get their mailing too. eventually i applied 'just to see'. they didn't even ding a report with an inquiry, i got a decline letter citing past delinquencies on a past citi account. it was weird because it took over a month and they had called me at work to verify income...

the citi blacklist is alive and well! (in my case anyway)

How much time elapsed between your Citi CO, and your decline? How long do they keep their records for?

somewhere from 1-2 years. im not sure how long they hold onto their records. i think ive read of people getting citi cards soon after burning them in bk and also people getting denied years later from the blacklist.

    its a YMMV situation.
