I've seen several posts about Citi's recent changes of prime + X%. I'm curious, who has the lowest fixed rate with Citibank. I currently have 10.9% and am wondering if there's room for movement (down) despite the fact that they told me they can't go lower. Asked this in another post and it appeared to stall, so sorry for repost.
There is no "guaranteed fixed" rate for credit cards. It's fixed until they decide different. It might became "un-fixed" within weeks.

Re: Re: Citi Fixed Rates?? I had a low fixed 8.9 with Citi a year or so ago. They talked me into switching to the prime + bc it was lower. I had misgivings, but did it anyway. Dumb. Now they tell me "Citi no longer offers fixed rates" I don't know how long they will allow the existing ones to continue. You may be "grandfathered in" but I wouldn't count on it. It will be interesting to watch APR antics this year. I have a feeling we will see lots of shenanigans as Credit card companies reassert their power.
