What's the best possible rate on a Citi Platinum Select? Prime+2.9%? I'm about to put some pressure on them over my fixed 11.9% rate and I need to know what to ask for... RM
It seems citi has tightened up their rules on low rates these days. Your internal score determines whether or not you have the ability to deal with "R" and that is the key to getting the lowest possible rate. i was charging and paying over $3000/month when i got prime+0.9%, They won't even give me that rate on my new cards now that i've calmed down a bit.
Thanks. I just tried PFB for the first time. I figure that it's worth a shot - it only took 5 minutes to clean up the machine-generated letter up and send it off. I've had very little activity on my Citi and I haven't revolved in ages. In the letter, I pointed out that the interest rate is the reason WHY I haven't been using the card. Maybe a human with some decision-making authority will read it and Do The Right Thing. Then again maybe not... RM
