Just got off the phone with new accounts. Citi Platinum Select was approved two days ago for a $9700 limit @ 7.9% Fixed APR!!! I think I am done now, except for a retail card maybe. Any suggestions? -NiceGuy
yeah..I just got one even though I have a paid tax lien showing from June of this year. They gave me $3000 CL Congrats!!!

I think Citi is only issuing MC's currently, used to issue Visas but don't think they do currently. They must have slept with MC and Visa said no more for you...

Congratulations. For a store card, where do you shop most often? I find store cards good for things like an extra 15% off for using their store card. My favorites are the May stores and Wal*Mart.
Dog: nope, Citi not included in the BK, did have a $500 limit card that I closed a yr ago because they kept jacking APR during AR's after seeing the BK. Hedwig: I would say that I shop most at Nordstrom, Kohls, Dillards, Best Buy, or Hechts (May).
Platinum: It was advertised in last Sunday's newspaper coupon section (had to call 800 number for 7.9 fixed APR).
