    I don't think so, because I have two personal platinum select accounts. One gets used (alot) and one sits idle most of the time. They raised the rate on me for the account that actually gets used.

    I have Citicards since 99 and they raised some of my cards.Currently,

    Citi Dividend Platinum Select MC is 7.99% fixed.
    Citi Sony Platinum Select MC is 8.99% var.
    Shell Citi Platinum Select MC is 13.99% var.
    Citi Platinum Slect MC (formerly Netscape Rewards) is 6.99% var.
    Hilton HHonors Signature Visa is 12.24% var.
    AT&T Universal Card and Diamond Prefrred are 9.99% Var.

    I don't carry balances on those cards and either paid by auto-pay or click to pay monthly.

    My husband and I have been at the receiving end of several Citi shenanigans in the past 3 months. So far we've had pretty good luck with PFB.
