My wife has perfect credit, all 3 CRA over 710. Three perfect payment history revolving accounts, personal loan, car loan and no inquiries. She got an offer for balance transfer of 0% for over a year so we went ahead and applied. She got this: We will notify you at the address you have provided as soon as your request is processed. What is that mean? Denial? If we call tomorrow and tell them we want to do a balance transfer, should that help? Also, should I apply for Citi AA Gold, just in case the other one is denied? Will the system let me do that? Thank for any help
I got the same message when I applied online. Got the card about 10 days later. Hope this is the case for you Gib
Re: Citi Platinum Select - approved We called this morning and the agent said that they are reviewing the application because supposedly my wife has 2 accounts with them. Well she does ATT Platinum but that is 1. It turned out that here mother has Citi Platinum Select and of course has the same last name. But aren't there a lot of Smiths? Anyway, they said to wait couple of weeks and they would reply at her address (she would not be able to check the status over the phone - ????????). She said this not means denial, but just review. Whatever
Re: Citi Platinum Select - approved We called couple of days ago to check the status and she was approved for $3100. Seems like she has a good credit if she got the Citi Platinum Select right off the bat without BDD, don't you think?
Re: Citi Platinum Select - approved Did you have any luck getting it bumepd? I was approved for citibiz ps so when I got the personal ps in the mail I decided to take the offer. Then was curious about the BDD so I tried it...sorta.....but couldn't find silverAA so tried with diamond something. Hope I haven't screwed up. My thinking is that if they are inq's on the same day maybe they'll look like dups. I mean I wasssss having trouble with my computer and submitting the app.
Re: Citi Platinum Select - approved I would not apply for personal and business at the same time as it would create 2 inq's. Citi personal is issued by Citi SD and Citi business is issued by Citi USA. I would think if you applied they would show up as 2 different inq's. I would apply Silver and Gold (personal) and then some other day, AA Business and Citi Business. Let us know what is your outcome.
