I just got denied a citi bank card which i am not surprised at. I have four tradelines currently that are all positive and helping me out. I have two lines that are within the last two years that are negative and a bunch of older stuff(5+ yrs old).

my question is what are the chances of calling citibank up and asking to reconsider my application for a card and let me put the balance of my two negative tradelines onto this account so I can get them paid off and help myself out with another positive tradeling.

    Your opinions are greatly appreciated!!

citibank likes to see paid off negatives. They might consider you if you can justify in writing some excuse for not paying them.
