I've heard about Citi Bank Smart Card a few times on this board but can't find any info on their website. Can anyone tell me where to find out more about it?
Yes, they just started to offer one. Check it out at http://www.citibank.com/us/cards/cardserv/citiyou/
no preset spending limit=we don't report your limit. Ut oh, no thanks. Here we go again. Why do they insist on this crap? We know we have a limit. They just haven't told us what it is, hehe.
I went for this account because the rewards options seemed more flexible than AA, the rep offered me no annual fee and the refund of my AA annual fee, and allowed me prime plus 3.99. Now, I've never tried to charge over the limit on my Citi card. Realistically, how much over can one go?
If it works like AmEx, they go by what you normally charge, I would think relative to your income. But are you aware of what not reporting limits does to your score? It always looks like you are at or over your limit.
