    Hi all,

Here is a good choice for those looking to include an open account in their credit "mix" but who want to retain the option to revolve. The Citi USA Signature card (www.hhonorscard.com) is listed as an open account on my credit reports even though it is a revolving card.

This is nice. I have an AmEx green for the open status - but now I can close the green card and save $55 a year.

    FYI,

Mine reports the same way, every month. I think that the Citi USA Hhonors is the only Visa Signature or World Card that has no annual fee.

How are open accounts reported ? Does it just say "open" instead of revolving along with date opened. Is there a credit limit that is reported ?

    Steve,

    Mine says:

    open account
    credit card
    individual

There is no credit limit reported, nor is there for my AmEx Green card. I'm very happy about this development b/c I was having a tough time justifying a $55 fee for what is essentially a high class debit card.

Just to clarify... Only the Signature cards report as open. Those of us who have the older Hhonors card have a regular visa and it does not report as open.
