    Finally,

It seems that Citibank USA has decided to upgrade the online account info system. It's been down all week.

The interface looks very much like that of Citibank Account Online, though for me, it is not yet fully accessible.

What's odd is that at www.hhonorscard.com when I try to log in, I get a system error though I'm able to see the interface. But when I try to log in at www.citibankusa.com I'm fully able to log in, but I pull up my Citibank "non-USA" account information!

Let's hope that the changes to Citi USA allow people to pay in full in between statement cycles. :-/...

Yes, It seems that you will be able to access Citi USA and citi SD on the same site. Not working for me yet I will wait to see what happen.

    Hi Geo!

Here's the deal per tech support...

Both Citi USA and Citi are using AccountOnline.com - which looks identical even by the URL - but they are accessing different servers in order to retreive the information.

So in order to access Citi USA's Account Online, you must re-register under a new user name at the following address, and only at this address.

    http://www.hhonorscard.accountonline.com/

But, the good news is... You can now pay for charges in between cycles. :)

Marci: Thanks for the information. I will register my Quicken MC and my new HHonors Visa Signature!

Ok, I had to create a User ID for Citi Quicken and another one for Citi HHonors on two differents web pages. By the way both sites tell me that a new card has been issued and to call to an 888 number when I receive them. I really don´t know what is this about, I have not reported my cards as lost or stolen lately.

Dang. That makes no sense. So each affinity card has it's own server for Account Online? I don't know why they make things more difficult than they have to be.

But at least you got your cards registered. I did not get a notice about a new card number when re-registering.

Congrats on the Signature Visa! I haven't used my Signature benefits yet, but they are nice to have.

Yes, that´s correct. one site per card(?)

    Hilton:

    https://www.accountonline.com/View?docId=Login&siteId=HHONORS&groupId=CBDE

    Quicken:

    https://www.accountonline.com/View?docId=Login&siteId=QUICKEN&groupId=CBDE

I checked today again and the new card notice is for My Quicken only. They should have mailed another card to me due to a confusion when I called last week.

I didn' need a new card or need to re-register. I just used the old login id I used for the citi usa login before. The only thing it made me do was change my password.

Yes, they do make you have a different login for each card (maybe if they are Citi you can do multiple cards). I had set up my Citi account, and I try to use the same login on all my accounts. When I went to set up my AT&T account, I kept getting errors. When I called tech support, they asked if I had a Citi account, and when I said I did, they said the logins have to be different, even though the web sites are different. This was 2 or 3 years ago.

Several months ago, I went to set up my Citgo account online (it's also Citi now, I'm not sure it always was) and guess what--I needed a third login!! The interfaces are the same or similar, but as someone else said, the data is on different servers. I don't understand why they can't use the same logon and authenticate on each server, or else combine the accounts. Maybe someday---

By the way, both of my FirstUSA accounts are under the same login, both show on the summary screen, then I can select my account. Same for Bank of America.

    Okay,

Just got off of the phone with Citi USA tech support...

    1. If you have a userID with Citi SD for their Account Online and that happens to be the same userID that you had with Citi USA's defunct servicing system - then you are now required to re-register with Citi USA because Citi USA's Account Online will now "see" your Citi SD userID and assume that it is a userID belonging to a different person.

So, it begs the question, which I asked, of course. Well if Account Online already recognizes my userID with CitiSD, then why can't I just add the Hilton Account to my list of accounts under the Citi SD userID? (No, that would make too much sense.) "No, they are on different servers and can't be merged".

The lady was very snotty with me about it, too. I really can't stand this bank. Why do I have their card, again?

I mean, really, if backwards American Express can merge different affinity card products on it's online service, certainly Citibank can!!!!!
