I received my Citi Platinum Select today. before activating I called to see if I could get a decent APR and BT offer. I have a 12.99 APR and 6.9 BT. They wouldn't budge. I guess to sock drawer Citi goes until I can get a decent rate. The rep said that those 0% APR offers are randomly generated. Phyllis
They seem to be a lot tighter in the butt these days. They would not give my #2 platinum select card better than prime+3.9% APR which was ridiculous for me. I just had them combine, the lady on the phone was like, you know that makes more sense..
I can NOT get them to lower my fixed 11.9% Plat Select. I'm tempted to threaten cancellation. Instead I punish them by never revolving on that account. Is it time for a Planet Feedback letter? RM
