As I have posted mant times I am on citibanks blacklist. They dont even pull my credit. However thanks to someone on this board a couple of weeks ago I applied for the citibank usa card. Today it came. So for all of us on the blacklist there is hope.

which card did you get? If you don't mind, what is your history? any bk or anything? Just trying to judge if I should bother or not.
It was the hhonors card. They pulled TU. I dont know my TU fico score. I had a 23 worthnothing score at the time. No Bk.

I am on permanent citibank blacklist for two old chargeoffs with them from 1995. One was settled one paid. Citibank will not even pull my credit so I guess this proves that the various citi divisions have separate databases. My TU report has no negs but all my credit is new. Only about two years of history. This is because I got all my old baddies deleted and there was no old good stuff. I was turned down for an mbna business card a couple of weeks ago simply because I have no old credit. My reports have obviously been scrubbed.
Hi Eddie, If you don't mind, how long did it take for you to receive your card? I'm still waiting for a decision on my Humane Society application (applied 3 weeks ago Monday). I know you said a few weeks ago, is that 2-3 or closer to 4? Thanks.
I applied on 8/28 online and got the 7-10 days screen. TU report was pulled 8/31 and card came today 9/08. I have always subscribed to the theory that the longer it takes to hear from the company after applyng, the more likely it is you will get the card. This rule does not apply to discover card which once took 35 days to decline me.
Sam-I considered that but I was in the hhonors club anyway so it seemed like a good fit. I was reading the info with the card last night. 0% on purchases for 6 months prime plus 3.99 thereafter. Plus it has real good rewards when you use it at their hotels. 3 points for every dollar charged on the card in addition to the points for staying there. Ill be racking up the free stays. Unlike a lot of people here I really like the rewards cards. My wife got the aadvantage card in April and we have already gotten 20,000 miles. I havent paid them much of any interest cause we pay in full each month and the annual fee doesnt bother me at all. Since April we have opened about 70,00 in credit lines. I am about through. I just wish I could get a business card. I have been turned down by everyone but Cap One who gave me a 300.00 limit on a business card.

I got the Hilton Honors in mail today. After being denied by Citi Advantage Cards. I am on their blacklist, but they saw fit to give me a Plat Select. Go figure. Last I checked Exp: 722 EQ:693 TU 635 Did i mention i hate TU! Thanks Eddie.
It took Macy's 29 days to decline me Oh well.....but yeah, I always get hopeful it'll take too long. LOL Steph
