I was supposed to be on the wagon from more inquiries on TU - but I am very tempted to apply for this card, and wil probably do so.

The one nice thing I noticed about the ad in the paper is that if a person is declined for the Platinum Select, he or she will still be considered for the classic Citibank card with the same balance transfer promotional rate (with a slightly higher purchase APR). It's a nice deal, either way...

Re: Citibank @ 0.00% Bt Till 06/01/ George, If you really want this card, I highly recommend your applying and, if you are denied, faxing in your reasons for why you should be approved (I've posted two fax numbers to their credit dept. back in June). For some reason, the computer FICO is unhappy with your profile. It may be worth having a human looking at your report instead. Obviously, Citibank is desperate for new customers - if it is running promotions like this. Good luck,
